Jude Deveraux​

Jude Deveraux, tên khai sinh là Jude Gilliam, sinh ngày 20/09/1947 tại Fairdale, Kentucky. Bà là người con út thứ 4 của gia đình. Năm 1967, bà lấy chồng và đổi họ thành White, do đó 1 vài cuốn sách đầu tiên của bà xuất bản dưới tên “Jude White”. Cuộc hôn nhân kết thúc sau 4 năm.​

Bà tốt nghiệp đại học Murray bang Kentucky với bằng nghệ thuật, trở thành giáo viên lớp 5 trước khi làm nhà văn. Bà bắt đầu viết vào năm 1976 dưới bút danh Jude Deveraux, với cuốn đầu tiên được xuất bản năm 1977.

Sau đó bà kết hôn với Claude Montassir, và có 1 đứa con trai nhưng đã chết khi lên 8 tuổi trong 1 tai nạn xe máy vào năm 2005. Bà ly dị lần 2.

David is in love with Amy. But Amy is so busy with her infant son, Max, that she will not date. David cons Jason into being a short term live in nanny for Max. When Jason moves into Amy's home for Christmas week, he is appalled at her poverty.

This is a romance. Of course Jason quickly falls for Amy. But she does not realize what he really is. She knows he has been a lucky charm for her, but does not know he is rich, powerful, and is deceiving her. When she finds out, her pride kicks in.

This is a very readable, predictable novel. It is quick, light reading. While Deveraux has written better, this one will hold your attention.
