    interfere - verb : ảnh hưởng

    Definition

    to get in the way of; to work against; to take part in the activities of others, especially when not asked to do so

    Example Sentences

    Her mother constantly interfered with her work.
    I don't mean to interfere, but don't you think that's too expensive.

    The Verb "to Mind"

    The verb "mind" is followed by the gerund - ing - form of the verb.

    Example Sentences

    He doesn't mind working late.
    Would you mind giving me a hand?

    distance - noun

    Definition

    the amount of space between two places or objects ("The distance from my house to your house is two kilometers.")

    Example Sentences

    It's quite a distance to the next town.
    What's the distance between your house and your neighbor?

    His

    The possessive pronoun form of he is "his" - both when followed by a noun and by itself - It is his book. The book is his.

    Example Sentences

    I think that's his car.
    That house over there is his.

    sympathy - noun

    Definition

    a sharing of feelings or emotions with another person, usually feelings of sadness

    Example Sentences

    I felt a great deal of sympathy for his difficult position.
    She expressed her sympathy at our loss.

    Have to :

    Use "have to" for everyday obligation and responsibilities.

    Example Sentences

    Jack has to get up at seven every morning.
    Students have to complete all assigned homework on time.

    evidence - noun -

    Definition

    material or facts that prove something; a reason for believing

    Example Sentences

    There was no evidence of any crime.
    The detective searched the scene for evidence.

    attempt - verb -

    Definition

    to work toward something; to try; to make an effort

    Example Sentences

    I'd like to make an attempt to get your homework in on time.
    Fred attempted to get a new job, but had difficulties.

    solid - adjective -

    Definition

    having a hard shape with no empty spaces inside; strong; not in the form of a liquid or gas

    Example Sentences

    The sculpture is made of solid marble.
    He has a solid knowledge of mathematics.

    Any and Some

    We usually use "any" in the question form except when offering or requesting something which is present - in this case we use "some"

    Example Sentences

    Would you like something to drink?
    She doesn't have any time this afternoon.

    trap - verb -

    Definition

    to catch or be caught by being tricked; to be unable to move or escape; n. a device used to catch animals

    Example Sentences

    He set a trap to catch the mice.
    I've been trapped by an awful man!

    Few and A Few

    We use "few" in a negative sense. Use "a few" in a positive sense.

    Example Sentences

    I have few friends in Los Angeles.
    I have a few friends in New York

    criticize - verb -

    Definition

    to say what is wrong with something or someone; to condemn; to judge

    Example Sentences

    He didn't want to criticize her performance.
    Would you like to criticize your work?


    WELL
    "Well" is the adverb form of the adjective "good"

    Example Sentences

    He plays golf very well.
    She feels well now.

    urgent - adjective -

    Definition

    needing an immediate decision or action

    Example Sentences

    Please tell Mr. Simmons that it's urgent.
    He felt an urgent need to visit his best friend.

    motion - noun -

    Definition

    a movement; a continuing change of position or place

    Example Sentences

    He saw a motion in the corner of the room.
    The cat's motion is fascinating.

    Future Time Clauses

    In a future time clause use the present simple - the construction is the same as for the first conditional.

    Example Sentences

    We'll begin the meeting as soon as she arrives.
    She'll finish after she receives the notes.
